Do you struggle with dreaded self-doubt?
Do you let other people’s perceptions of you dictate your worth?
Do you feel euphoric when your clients get results, and harshly blame yourself and get down in the dumps when they don’t?
Do you find yourself making excuses about why you can’t do something in your health coaching business when you know deep down that it’s your fear of not being good enough holding you back?
If you answered yes to any of the above, know that YOU are NOT alone.
So many health coach entrepreneurs lack self-worth. And it’s really no wonder – building a health coaching business (or any business) isn’t easy!
Not only does it challenge you in so many ways, if you’re not an emotionally resilient person, it can cause you to start questioning your skills, your competency, and your credibility. This can then cause your confidence to take a plunge and make you feel like you’re riding a roller coaster of emotions.
The worst part is, regardless of how skilled of a health coach you are, if you lack self-worth and let these emotions get the best of you, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be able to reach the level in your business that you want to get to.
Because without self-worth, you’re not likely to do all of the things that are pretty much required when building a business!
Like stepping outside of your comfort zone…
Making big, bold decisions…
Investing in yourself…
Attending that conference…
Hosting that webinar…
Pursuing new collaborations…
Signing on a client with complex health issues…
And trusting in yourself as the expert.
Instead of taking risks, you’ll play small.
Instead of chasing after big, scary opportunities, you’ll let fears hold you back.
Instead of investing in yourself, you’ll make excuses as to why you can’t afford it.
Instead of making strategic business choices that will accelerate your growth, you’ll busy yourself with the day-to-day minutia because it doesn’t challenge you.
You won’t grow. And neither will your business.
If you’re reading this and thinking “wow – some of this sounds a lot like me,” then I encourage you to check out the candid, kick-in-the-pants discussion I had with some health coaches inside the Health Coach Clarity Facebook group.
I talked about how I used to be EXACTLY where so many of you are, how I finally managed to get OFF the rollercoaster and stop letting others dictate my self-worth, how doing this was jeopardizing my business, and the actions that YOU can take today to start building up your confidence.

And always remember: you ARE good enough. Even if, in this moment, you don’t believe it, fake it until you make it. Take on that client, do that free talk in front of hundreds, approach that practitioner, invest in that coach and JUST START BELIEVING in your potential.
